Bio
Lindsay Keeling is a studio artist who exhibits her abstract landscape paintings at galleries and festivals across the Southeast. Keeling studied Studio Art, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee and obtained her MBA at the University of West Florida. Throughout her career, Keeling has volunteered with numerous arts organizations, notably serving as Exhibition Director on the board of Artel Gallery in Pensacola, Florida. After relocating to western North Carolina, she now serves as the Programs Coordinator for her local arts council.
Keeling's abstract landscapes capture the peaceful energy of nature, inviting an appreciation for the present moment. Layers of color create depth and visual texture, resulting in her unique view of the landscape. Tactile mixed media elements include hand-painted tissue and altered papers that are a byproduct of her creative process. The addition of acrylic paint creates contrast and glow along the horizon in her landscapes.
