About Lindsay

Lindsay Keeling is an abstract painter based in Western North Carolina. She is an entrepreneur and loves to encourage creativity. She draws inspiration from nature for her original abstract landscape paintings.

Lindsay studied Studio Art, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee and obtained her Master of Business Administration from University of West Florida. During her time in Pensacola, she served on the board of directors for Artel Gallery and had a studio downtown at Gallery 1060 on the First City Art Center campus. She was voted Runner Up for InWeekly’s 2023 Best of the Coast: Best Artist in Pensacola.

Lindsay recently relocated to the gorgeous mountains of Western North Carolina, which are inspiring an evolution of Lindsay’s color palette and style. She has exhibited her work in galleries and festivals across the Southeast and you can find her work locally at Haywood Handmade Gallery in Waynesville, North Carolina.

Artist Statement

My abstract landscapes explore a deep connection to nature. The horizon line grounds us to the present moment, inviting an appreciation of our surroundings. My work embodies this serene experience through an exploration of color and contrast. Layers of color create depth and mixed media elements provide texture, resulting in my unique view of the world around us. My work is an invitation to pause, reflect, and immerse oneself in this beauty.
